After earning 30 points at it’s last competition, the MRHS Math Team brought it’s yearly total up to 48 points and jumped up from 18 ^th place to 14 ^th place in the Shore Math League.   The team was led by Senior and 2 ^nd year member Brent Holford who earned a perfect score of 5 on the individual part of the competition.   The team also received strong contributions from seniors and first year members Justin Kenney and Steven Zarchy who each scored 4 on the individual part.   And lastly, the team’s resurgence at this most recent competition can be attributed in large part to the 10 points earned from the Relay and Team segments of the competition.   At the first competition, the MRHS Math Team had failed to score any points during these two portions of the competition.   The team’s next competition will be on Monday, November 16 ^th at CBA.
