October Blog 10/22/2009 11:27:03 Hello to all in the Monmouth Regional Community, School is moving along very smoothly. I have been walking the halls and sitting in some classrooms to get a picture of the quality education that is provided at Monmouth Regional High School. The students are engaged and teachers are working very hard in all the classrooms. At this point parents/guardians should be signed up to log onto Genesis Parent Portal to monitor the progress of your child (ren). If you have not done this please do so as soon as possible. This is important to monitoring the progress of your child (ren) and following through on your commitment to helping your child (ren) to succeed. In addition, all phone numbers and emails should have been updated in the Honeywell Emergency Management System at www.monmouthregional.net click on the login links or log on to https://instantalert.honeywell.com .This will allow the school to disseminate information in a timely fashion in case of an emergency in which parents must be notified. This weekend is a big weekend at MRHS. A Sports Recognition Program/ Pep Rally will be on Thursday night at 5:30pm. This program will recognize all Fall Sports and the various levels of participation. The school will also have its first night football game in the history of the school. The game will be on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 7:00 pm. This game will be against Red Bank Regional High School. I am personally asking you to come out and show your support for the Falcons. Tickets will be on sale for 5.00 dollars. Both of these great events will take place under temporary lights. In addition to these great events the Homecoming Dance will be on Saturday at 6 pm in the Commons. Students have just completed taking the fall administration of the N.J. HSPA. Everything went smoothly and I am confident all students worked to the best of their abilities on the State Assessment.
