Jennifer Mitchell, Director
Mrs. Mitchell has been a teacher at Monmouth Regional High School for over 25 years and she has taught every grade and level of English, as well as one Drama class for a Maternity Leave. She is the current advisor for the GSA (actual title: the Grand Poobah of the GSA; but to her GSA kids... “Mom MItch”), as well as the Debate Club and the Writing Club. She has been in theater since she was 5 years old when she was the best darn chipmunk in the OG Youth Summer Theater Program under Dexter Davison. She has spent many years in front of the curtain performing in many musicals (Tootles in Peter Pan, Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland, Pappy Yokum from L’il Abner, the Cowardly Lion in Wizard of Oz, the Wicked Witch of the West in Wizard of Oz, the Witch in Hansel and Gretal...uh oh, there seems to be a theme here…) and is more than excited to spend her time behind the scenes working with these wonderful young actors and actresses. Her favorite credentials for being a director before this is the last 18 years of her life “directing” her two amazing sons. She was delighted to direct last spring's The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and is looking forward to directing both shows this season!
