Katie Toole
I have been a School Counselor at Monmouth Regional High School since 2014. I think that Monmouth Regional has the best mix of students around. I love the different personalities and uniqueness of our student body. My role here is to help. To help my students attend the college they want, to help them pass their classes and graduate on time, to help them feel comfortable in this building, and to help them realize how great they are!!
I received a BS in Business Administration from Sacred Heart University where I played 4 years of Division I Basketball. I then received my MA in Humanities from Manhattanville College, where I was also the women's basketball coach. I then coached women's college basketball for 8 years at Manhattanville College, Brown University and Fordham University. I received my MA in Counseling in 2012 and have been a School Counselor ever since. I use a lot of the same skills as a counselor that I used as a teammate and coach. I believe that working with students is a collaborative process.
Ability is what you’re capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it. - Lou Holtz
