Algebra II builds upon Algebra skills focusing on manipulative skill and mathematical reasoning. (Note that students who did not have Algebra 1 Honors at MRHS may have some gaps that should be remediated during the summer prior to starting the course. The summer assignment is a good tool for identifying those potential gaps.) You will often hear from me that the answer is not what I am looking for, I am looking for your reasoning. I may even give you the answer to begin with. This course is focused on conceptual understanding of Algebra and being able to use mathematics to manipulate equations.  We will also dive beyond SOHCAHTOA into wonderful world of Trigonometry!
