Mrs. Dara Jarosz

Hi there!! My name is Dara Jarosz and I am the Student Assistance Counselor (SAC), here at Monmouth Regional High School. Thank you for taking the time to read my website, learn more about my role in the school, and resources available to all students and their families. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns that you may have: djarosz@monmouthregional.net.

An increasingly large number of teens are in crisis. Drug and alcohol use, violence, bullying, depression, suicide, stress and anxiety, eating disorders, gang involvement, and other social/emotional issues threaten the well-being of all students, their families, and society as a whole. As the problems have escalated, so have the demands on schools throughout the country to address them.

Student assistance programs are designed to help students with problems affecting their personal lives through a range of school-based prevention and intervention services.

The Student Assistance Counselor (SAC) provides in-school assessment, crisis intervention, counseling and referral services to any student who may be experiencing personal, family, and/or peer difficulties. The goal is to support the student and prevent personal difficulties from interfering with their success in school. In addition to individual services, groups are offered depending on the needs of the school community.
