Monmouth Regional Teachers Achieve Microsoft Certifications
Coming back to school this September, two of Monmouth Regional faculty achieved a high honor Microsoft Education Certification. Cathy Famelio and William Clark both became Microsoft Certified Educators by taking a rigorous course online through the Microsoft Education website. After successfully completing the course they had to take an exam at a certified Microsoft testing center and recieve a grade of 80% or higher to achieve this certification. They both passed and recieved this certification from Microsoft and bring there added knowledge to teaching here at Monmouth Regional High School.

More info on who Mr. Clark is:
Mr. Clark is in his third year as the Instructional Coach at Monmouth Regional High School, focusing on literacy, research and educational technology. Prior to his current position, he was an English teacher for six years. Named Educator of the Year in 2018, Mr. Clark works throughout the school to support teachers and students in reading and writing instruction, infusion of technology into lessons and learning and navigating online databases for research. Mr. Clark has a Master's of Instructional Design and Technology from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor's of Science in Education from the University of Vermont. He is certified to teach English and Social Studies and is a certified School Library Media Specialist. Mr. Clark also advises the Ski and Snowboard Club.

Cathy Famelio is in her 26th year of teaching at Monmouth Regional High School. She has taught many science courses over the years but has been focussing on science electives for the past 5 years: Forensic Science, Anatomy & Physiology, and Dynamics of Health Care. Prior to MRHS she taught biology at Roselle Catholic HS for 2 years. Named MRHS Educator of the Year 2015-16 Mrs. Famelio strives to make her classroom as current as possible with the use of technology to enrich and enhance the classroom experience. Mrs. Famelio has a Master of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education / Biology from Georgian Court University.
