Local Scholarships
THE MONMOUTH COUNTY ALUMNAE CHAPTER OF DELTA SIGMA THETA SORORITY
The student must have a minimum academic average GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. The student must be accepted and plan to attend an accredited two or four-year degree granting college or university. Student must be enrolled as a graduating senior (class of 2026) in a Monmouth County or Ocean County High School. Scholarships are open to both male and female students. Students who are sons/daughters of a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated are not eligible to apply. The scholarship deadline is March 6, 2026.
ARMY ROTC SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarships and other monetary support are available to help with costs when you join Army Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC). Focus on your education and graduate into a secure path as an Army Officer and with less debt for the school years your scholarship covers. You are eligible if you are a high school student enrolling in college. The scholarship deadline is February 1, 2026.
THE CENTRAL JERSEY CLUB
Students graduating in 2026, attending a high school located in Monmouth or Ocean County and planning to attend a 2 or 4 year college/university. Students should excel academically, volunteer in community and demonstrate leadership skills in school, community, work, church, or other relevant environments. Students who have extraordinary abilities in art, music, or a specific field of interest and want to pursue their talent in college should also apply. The scholarship deadline is January 16, 2026.
SOCIETY OF MANUFACTURING ENGINEERS SCHOLARSHIP
Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or current college student (associates or bachelor's). Minimum of 2.0 GPA and pursuing an associate, bachelor's or graduate degree in technical fields that directly support manufacturing. Attending accredited college or university in the United States, Canada or possess a student visa. Full or part-time student. The scholarship deadline is February 1, 2026.
SCHOLARSHIPS FOR MILITARY CHILDREN
The scholarships for military children program is open to unmarried military dependent children under the age of 23 who possess a valid uniformed services identification (USID) card. In addition, a student's parent(s) /sponsor(s) must be one of the following: active duty, reserve/guard, deceased, or retired from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, or Space Force. Applicant must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate program leading to a bachelor's degree or a community/junior college designed to allow for a direct transfer into a four-year program. High school applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. College freshman must submit a first-semester college transcript. Applicants or sponsors do not need to live at an installation with a commissary simply select the commissary where you shop or the one nearest to you. The scholarship deadline is February 11, 2026.
CONNEX FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
Be a United States or Canadian citizen or permanent legal resident. At a minimum, a graduating high school senior or equivalent (GED). Plan to enroll as a full-time student. Have a cumulative unweighted GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent Canadian grade-point scale). Have a history of active involvement in extra-curricular activities, community service, or work experience. The application deadline is February 15, 2026.
FCCLA MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Applicant must be a graduating high school senior and an active FCCLA member. Plan to pursue a four-year degree at an accredited institution. Must demonstrate outstanding leadership skills. Active involvement in community service initiatives. A well-rounded profile through participation in diverse activities. The application deadline is March 2, 2026.
AFA NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS
Applicant must be a current high school senior or undergraduate student. Age 17-25 during the AFA Leaders Conference. Attending a four-year institution in the US or plans to obtain a four-year degree. A 2.5 GPA or higher (recommended). Passion for food, agriculture and/or natural resources. Intention to pursue a career in the food, agriculture and/or natural resources industries. The application deadline is March 5, 2026.
9/11 PROMISE SCHOLARSHIP
Children of a fallen first responder or military member, or children of a first responder or military service member certified as not being able to work. Children must currently be under the age of 25. High school diploma or equivalency, or in the final year of high school. Currently enrolled at or accepted to pursue a trade, undergraduate or graduate studies at an accredited trade school, college or university. Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. The application deadline is March 15, 2026.
REVIEW IT SCHOLARSHIP
To be eligible for the Dr. Gabriel and Christine Chiu "Review It" Scholarship, a student must be attending college or university no later than September of 2026. Have achieved a GPA of 2.5 or greater during their last academic year. Be attending or planning to attend a school in the US. The application deadline is May 15, 2026.
UNITED STATES JCI FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
The student must be a graduating high school senior. Plan to continue their education at an accredited post-secondary college, university or vocational school. The application deadline is January 12, 2026.
SONS OF NORWAY SCHOLARSHIPS
Student must be enrolled at an accredited college, university, or high school in the United States. Be of Norwegian heritage and plan to study at a US Institution. The application deadline is January 15, 2026.
AUTOMOTIVE WOMEN'S ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIPS
To be eligible for this scholarship a student must be accepted to a college or university. Have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA during a scholarship-funded semester. The application deadline is January 16, 2026.
DAR AMERICAN INDIAN SCHOLARSHIP
Applicant must be a Native American student with a minimum GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale. Must be able to demonstrate financial need. The application deadline is January 31, 2026.
ATLANTIC HOUSING FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS
Be enrolled (or planning to enroll) as a full-time student at an accredited four-year university, two-year college, technical school, or certification program. Complete 40 hour of nonprofit community service prior to applying. The application deadline is February 1, 2026.
