Local Scholarships

THE MONMOUTH COUNTY ALUMNAE CHAPTER OF DELTA SIGMA THETA SORORITY

The student must have a minimum academic average GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. The student must be accepted and plan to attend an accredited two or four-year degree granting college or university. Student must be enrolled as a graduating senior (class of 2026) in a Monmouth County or Ocean County High School. Scholarships are open to both male and female students. Students who are sons/daughters of a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated are not eligible to apply. The scholarship deadline is March 6, 2026.

STUDENT VIEW SCHOLARSHIP

Simply log on to www.student-view.com and complete a 15-20 minute application survey about colleges in your area. The scholarship will be awarded via a random drawing of all completed applications. The scholarship winner will be announced in May 2026. The application deadline is April 23, 2026.

DEWALT TRADES SCHOLARSHIP

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must plan to enroll or are enrolled in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year college or vocational-technical school. Must be citizens of the United States or Canada. The application deadline is February 28, 2026.

DeWalt Trades Scholarship

NATIONAL ITALIAN AMERICAN FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must have at least one ancestor who has immigrated from Italy. Be enrolled in a US accredited institution on a full-time basis for the Fall 2026 semester. The application deadline is March 1, 2026.

National Italian American Foundation Scholarships

AMERICAN WELDING SOCIETY NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS

A student must be pursuing a bachelor's or associate degree in welding or a related discipline in the Fall 2026. Submit two letters of recommendation. The application deadline is March 1, 2026.

American Welding Society National Scholarship

CONNEX FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

Be a United States or Canadian citizen or permanent legal resident. At a minimum, a graduating high school senior or equivalent (GED). Plan to enroll as a full-time student. Have a cumulative unweighted GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent Canadian grade-point scale). Have a history of active involvement in extra-curricular activities, community service, or work experience. The application deadline is February 15, 2026.

CONNEX FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

FCCLA MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior and an active FCCLA member. Plan to pursue a four-year degree at an accredited institution. Must demonstrate outstanding leadership skills. Active involvement in community service initiatives. A well-rounded profile through participation in diverse activities. The application deadline is March 2, 2026.

FCCLA MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

AFA NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS

Applicant must be a current high school senior or undergraduate student. Age 17-25 during the AFA Leaders Conference. Attending a four-year institution in the US or plans to obtain a four-year degree. A 2.5 GPA or higher (recommended). Passion for food, agriculture and/or natural resources. Intention to pursue a career in the food, agriculture and/or natural resources industries. The application deadline is March 5, 2026.

9/11 PROMISE SCHOLARSHIP

Children of a fallen first responder or military member, or children of a first responder or military service member certified as not being able to work. Children must currently be under the age of 25. High school diploma or equivalency, or in the final year of high school. Currently enrolled at or accepted to pursue a trade, undergraduate or graduate studies at an accredited trade school, college or university. Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. The application deadline is March 15, 2026.

REVIEW IT SCHOLARSHIP

To be eligible for the Dr. Gabriel and Christine Chiu "Review It" Scholarship, a student must be attending college or university no later than September of 2026. Have achieved a GPA of 2.5 or greater during their last academic year. Be attending or planning to attend a school in the US. The application deadline is May 15, 2026.

Be attending or planning to attend an accredited school that is eligible for federal funding. Demonstrate financial need and have a GPA of 2.0 or greater. The application deadline is March 1, 2026.

AFA TEENS AWARENESS COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must attend an accredited college/university in the US immediately following high school graduation in 2026. Be a high school senior. The application deadline is March 1, 2026.

AFA Teens Awareness College Scholarship

CHILDREN OF WARRIORS NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP

Be the daughter, son, grandson, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, great-grandson of a veteran who served in the Armed Forces. Excel in academics at school and participate in volunteer activities outside of school. The application deadline is March 1, 2026.

Children of Warriors National Scholarship

DAUGHTERS OF THE CINCINNATI SCHOLARSHIP

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must be daughters of career commissioned officers in the United States armed services. Also, a student of their senior year of high school. The application deadline is March 1, 2026.

Daughters of the Cincinnati Scholarship

NATIONAL CATHOLIC COMMITTEE ON SCOUTING SCHOLARSHIPS

Be a practicing Catholic who is a full-time senior in high school. Be a registered man or woman actively involved with a Scout Troop, Venturing crew, or Sea Scout Ship. The application deadline is March 1, 2026.

National Catholic Committee on Scouting Scholarships

USPAACC SCHOLARSHIPS

Applicant must be a high school senior of Asian Pacific Island heritage. A citizen or permanent resident of the United States with a 3.3 GPA or higher. The application deadline is March 2, 2026.

ACE SCHOLARSHIP

The applicant must be a graduating senior who plans to attend college to study a topic related to the achievement, care or education of youth. Students should include a 1-2 page summary of themselves as students, their cumulative high school GPA, a description of how this scholarship would impact themselves and their family including the burden of the cost of college education and any other information they think will help their application.2
