COMMON APP SCHOLARSHIP
To be eligible a student must be in Grade 11 or 12. Attending college or university no later than October 1, 2026. Have achieved a GPA of 2.5 or greater during their last academic year. Choose one topic of an essay that is under 700 words. The scholarship deadline is December 15, 2025.
NICHE $50,000 SCHOLARSHIP
All high school and college students, as well as anyone looking to attend college or graduate school in the next year. The "No Essay" Scholarship is an easy scholarship with no essay required. Only one entry allowed per person. The winner will be determined by random drawing and then contacted directly and announced in Niche's e-newsletter and on the Scholarship Winners page. The scholarship deadline is December 31, 2025.
APPILY EASY MONEY SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is open to high school sophomores, juniors and first semester senior students for all majors and schools. We will judge this scholarship based on other criteria such as work volunteer work, extracurricular activities, special circumstances, etc. The scholarship deadline is November 30, 2025.
SCIENCE BUDDY SCHOLARSHIP
The applicant must be entering or currently pursuing an educational program in the sciences. Be in grade 11 or 12. Be attending college or university no later than September 15, 2026. Have achieved a GPA of 2.5 or greater during their last academic year. Answer the essay, As a current or future student, tell us in under 500 words what made you choose to study science in college/university. The scholarship deadline is December 31, 2025.
VOLUNTEER FOR VETS SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship is open to any current high school senior, vocational student, college student, or graduate student who is a legal resident of the United States, residing in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia, and who is enrolled in a vocational program or a two to four year post-secondary institution. Employees of Pontius Tax Law, PLLC, their immediate families (parent, child, sibling, and spouse), and persons living in the same households of such individuals (whether related or not), are not eligible to participate in the competition. Candidates for this scholarship must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher and be in good academic standing overall. The candidate must submit a 750-1,000 word essay response to the prompt: How can we better support Veterans in our community? Please provide specific examples. All essays will be checked for AI writing. If AI generated writing is detected in the essay, the application will be denied. Sumit a professional resume that lists their experiences, both professional and academic. Submit a transcript from their current school. First-year college students, graduate students, or individuals who have recently transferred to a new school may submit an unofficial transcript from their current institution, as well as the most recent official transcript from their previous school. High school students can submit proof of acceptance to their college or university. The scholarships deadline is November 30, 2025.
DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR 2026 ESSAY CONTEST
Applicants must submit an essay of at least 300 words and not exceed 500 words in MLA format. The essay must be typed. Any quotations or copyrighted material used in the essay must be properly cited in MLA format. Both the application and essay must be submitted by December 5, 2025 by 5pm to giving@ymcanj.org. All applicants must be current, registered students at a Monmouth, Ocean or Middlesex County high school.

10 WORDS OR LESS SCHOLARSHIP
Be between the ages of 14-25 and be attending school in the Fall of 2026. Submit a response to the essay prompt. The scholarship deadline is November 15, 2026.
NATIONAL SPACE CLUB SCHOLARSHIP
Be a senior in high school and have the intention of pursuing a career in the STEM fields. The scholarship deadline is November 17, 2025.

AIAA LOCKHEED MARTIN MARILLYN SCHOLARSHIP
Be a high school senior intending to pursue an aerospace STEM major in one of the following areas: computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, mathematics, mechanical engineering or physics. The scholarship deadline is December 31, 2025.
THIEL HIGH SCHOOL FELLOWSHIP
Be interested in designing and building things and be under the age of 22. The scholarship deadline is December 31, 2025.
HEALTHCARE LEADERS' SCHOLARSHIP
Be entering, or currently pursuing, an educational program related to nursing or medicine. Be at least 17 years old with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. The scholarship deadline is December 31, 2025.
PERSEVERANCE SCHOLARSHIP
Have experienced a birth/child injury. Have a 3.0 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale. The scholarship deadline is December 31, 2025.
STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES SCHOLARSHIP
Be enrolled at an accredited college, university, or high school in the United States. Must have a documented disability. The scholarship deadline is November 14, 2025.
MILITARY CHILD OF THE YEAR AWARD
Be a military dependent. Status confirmed by DEERS enrollment form. Be between the ages of 13 and 18 at the time of nomination. The scholarship deadline is December 2, 2025.
ARTHUR M & BERDENA KING EAGLE SCOUT SCHOLARSHIP
Applicant must be a high school senior that plans on attending college or university in the Fall of 2026. Be an Eagle Scout who is registered in an active unit and has not reached their nineteenth birthday. The scholarship deadline is December 31, 2025.
FUTURE TRAVEL NURSE SCHOLARSHIP
Be in good academic standing with a 3.0 GPA or higher. Have been accepted to a nursing program at an accredited institution in the United States. The application deadline is December 31, 2025.
UNITED STATES JCI FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
The student must be a graduating high school senior. Plan to continue their education at an accredited post-secondary college, university or vocational school. The application deadline is January 12, 2026.
SONS OF NORWAY SCHOLARSHIPS
Student must be enrolled at an accredited college, university, or high school in the United States. Be of Norwegian heritage and plan to study at a US Institution. The application deadline is January 15, 2026.
AUTOMOTIVE WOMEN'S ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIPS
To be eligible for this scholarship a student must be accepted to a college or university. Have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA during a scholarship-funded semester. The application deadline is January 16, 2026.
DAR AMERICAN INDIAN SCHOLARSHIP
Applicant must be a Native American student with a minimum GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale. Must be able to demonstrate financial need. The application deadline is January 31, 2026.
ATLANTIC HOUSING FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS
Be enrolled (or planning to enroll) as a full-time student at an accredited four-year university, two-year college, technical school, or certification program. Complete 40 hour of nonprofit community service prior to applying. The application deadline is February 1, 2026.
