In a wonderful display of cooperation and collaboration among our student body, Mrs. Evans’ English students hosted Mr. Nappi's Holocaust and Genocide students in a joint lesson. Inspired by their reading of the non-fiction piece, Night by Elie Wiesel, Mrs. Evans class created original poetry, analyzed Holocaust art, and researched various genocides. Mr. Nappi's class came in as the school "experts" to tour the presentations, give feedback, and enjoy breakfast together! Three winners were chosen by the Holocaust Class: Addison Demko for best art interpretation, Collin Fedorowsky and Aidan Arroyo for best research project, and James Douglas for best original poem.
